Playing dates:
Wednesday 4 October - Saturday 7 October 2023

Meeting:
Tuesday 3 October - TPB Arena Suite (2nd floor)

Preliminary Inquiry: 5:30pm - 6:45pm - Compulsory Team Sign In

Technical Meetings: 7:00pm -7:30 pm

Referee Meeting: 7:30pm - 8:00 pm

 

ENTRY FEE

Division 1 - $1,430.00 ($300 discount if you have a National Referee)

Division 2 - $1,100.00 (Regional Referee required)

Division 3 - $1,100.00 (Regional Referee required)

Registration: 1 August - 1 September

Team list registration: 1 Sept. - 22 Sept. 

Player Loan window: 16 Sept - 25 September (Monday)

Last day of Zone League: 17 Sept. (all results sent to VNZ by 18 Sept - Monday)

Last day to withdraw without penalty: 17 Sept. (Sunday)

Withdraw before 22 Sept: 50% refund

Withdraw after draws are done: 20% refund or $800 charge to club

Withdraw after 22 Sept: No refund

 

 

 

2023 TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE


Mens and Womens Division

Division 1 - 12 teams (Qualify through Zone League)
Division 2 - 16 teams (Qualify through Zone League)
Division 3 - 12 teams (Open Grade - Can participate without playing in ZL)  
               - Tournament regulations may change if more than 12 teams per gender 
                  register for Division 3
                                
 

 

Club Transfers

If you are a player and want to transfer to a different club, fill out the CLUB TRANSFER FORM before the first Zone League game.

Players are not allowed to move clubs once the ZL starts. Players can represent only one club throughout the Zone League and the same club for Club Championships.

Division 1 Clubs can "borrow" a player from a different club that does not qualify for Division 1 via Club Loan. Teams that do not qualify for Division 1 can also loan players from other teams. Please fill in the CLUB LOAN FORM and send to om@volleyballnz.org.nz

Loaned players are still considered members of their original club and do not need to fill in a transfer form.
